"I’m beginning to think that booking through a third party is not a good idea. Our room was comfortable, but the last few times we’ve booked through Hotels.com, we’ve gotten rooms with rather shabby furniture. Marks on the walls and scratches on the furniture make it look like the hotels don’t care about room appearance. The room was large and comfortable, food at the restaurant was mediocre, and overall, it was a pleasant stay. "

"This was a more than above average motel that was convenient to Mesa Verde. The property and room renovation is well done. The space felt clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast seemed fresher with a few extra touches than the typical, such as the bagel assortment and bananas, which always seem run out early elsewhere. Overall I’d stay here before a chain hotel. We were on a timeline but would have enjoyed more time to explore the sites in the area. "

"Large comfortable rooms and very quiet. Lovely grounds with large decks for outside entertaining. Very nice indoor pool and hot tub. Great location and very reasonably priced. Nice breakfast area withe good food options."
