"Lovely spacious home with well equipped necessities for a large family vacation. The kitchen offered many items—multiple dish wear/silverware items, cookware, large cabinet spaces for food storage and essentials for making our vacation easy. The furniture, throughout the house, was very comfortable. Plenty of space to sit and enjoy a meal, conversation or nap! Everything was great—both inside and outside!"

"The property was just as it was in photos as in person. It is in a quiet area, little traffic, just what you want when you want down time and no drama! Fun areas to explore. Went to Lake Gaston Coffee, awesome scones and coffee. A very nice selection of wines for a coffee shop. Had dinner at Waterview in Littleton. Not far from house at all. Food was great. Right on the water and have music on select days. Rosemont winery is a must. We will be back. Our host was wonderful. Answered all our questions and feedback very helpful.."

"We couldn’t have loved our stay at this gorgeous house any more. The moment that I walked down the walkway from the car to the porch, I got actual goosebumps when I saw the panoramic view of the lake. From then on, we spent every moment outside that we possibly could. When we weren’t boating, we floated on the lily pad, used the kayak, and jumped off the dock countless times. We ate meals either on the porch or out on the top deck of the dock. We loved using the fire pit on the porch and grilling a couple of our dinners. We even sat on the porch during a complete downpour and were able to watch the storm roll in and out. Communicating with Marianne was easy and pleasant. We will definitely stay here again if we are able to come back to Lake Gaston next year! "

"My trip was for unforseen reasoning and given the circumstances the staff made my family and I feel so at home. Marianne and Mimi was who greeted me upon my arrival and these ladies sure know a thing about southern hospitality. I felt like family and I knew them forever. The other lady at the front (I didn't get her name) but had a very dark burgundy color hair was so sweet and helpful. The breakfast prep lady as well. If I don't have to come back down for family matters I just want to come back just because "
