Nice room with a view with everything you need. Restaurant food nice with great friendly service throughout the hotel. Handy location.

What a ln absolutely stunning location and and building and we have stayed in some lovely hotels being Gold members. Beautiful. But most striking were the team. The front of house reception team were so so welcoming. The general manager was one of the. Invest people we’ve come across. So polite personable and helpful. We were in one of the cottages (tulip) and I must say usually hotels with outside/annexed rooms are usually not as nice but these cottagez have us feel of living in a village with the entrance to the hotel just adjacent to our cottage. We loved it. The room was Lovely. Spacious yet cosy. Lovely amenities in the bathroom which was clean and welcoming. The breakfast was hot plentiful and set us up for the day. So much options for seating and free to sit wherever. Lovely views from wherever you sit. Thencast iron grill restaurant was lovely. The furnishings are stylish modern and timeless which blend well with the old historic building. Plenty of parking. The only things they could be improved was the bar felt a little tired and sofas were old. The outdoor seating made it not look like a Marriott branded hotel. Could be made to look a little more stylish quite easily. Do not hesitate to book. It’s a gem. We are looking forward to coming back soon. Thank you team.
