« I booked the room 3.5 months ago for the Gus Macker tournament weekend. My family and I tried to check in - and they ran out of rooms due to overbooking. So despite having a confirmed reservation with confirmation number, we had no room to check into and we learned that at 9:00p at night. The only remedy offered was to waive the cancellation fee (which was just so crazy to us given we did not cause the situation). »

However over a month before the trip, I tried to cancel due to an illness/ hospitalization in my extended family. I tried cancelling and getting a refund, and the hotel wouldn’t refund with over a months advance notice.
