Meadow Vacation Packages

The stay was fine but the property needs some updating/upkeep.

Staff was great, and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was bagels, cereal, muffins, and a single waffle maker. Cranberry, apple, and orange juices. Elevator doors looked like they were being prepped for painting. AC worked well in our rooms.

I didn’t like the breakfast because it didn’t have many options.

The carpet was not vacuumed and had stains. The kitchenette was useless because there were no dishes, not even plastic glasses for water, or silverware, which I have never seen before in a kitchenette experience. Usually there is enough dishes for one -4 guests. Our room overlooked the pool, which was very dirty and looked like some of the edging was falling off. We wanted to swim, but decided it was too dirty to risk so did not extend our trip. The balconies and the pool area were literally covered with pigeon feces. We could not even sit on the balcony because it was so covered in droppings.

The hotel is very close to Texas Tech University which is a positive.
