"Taveuni Island Resort is the best resort my wife and I have ever visited. We have stayed in resorts from the Seychelles to Tulum and this is far and away the best. At $175 Au a night l expected at least a fridge, jug and toaster. I was bought a jug on request by a helpful staff member. The communication and support from the property owners was the best I've ever had in a rental, and the local support team was super helpful and welcoming. "So nice, I stayed here twice. Right on the water. Wave sounds all night. Nice sea breezes. Hosts were attentive and so kind and good. Walk to the airport is maybe 1 1/2 minutes. The views are great morning sunrise, and evening sunset. I will return. Hopefuly 100’s of times. This might be my favorite place on this earth."

Mary has organised our land tours (Lavena coastal walk and waterfalls in Bouma National park- don't miss them and take a guide for coastal walk as we got a bit lost) as we did our water-based activities previously in dive resort....

"Our visit was very disappointing. The hotel looked nothing like the pictures that were uploaded. It was old and run down, with no-one having visited for two years. Also, the description of the hotel was incorrect at best, but more accurately deceptive. "My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it! Sharon and Grant catered to our every need plus more and made it such a special and memorable time! A wonderful holiday spot on Taveuni island
"We stayed 4 nights in Grand suite- cottage contains two double beds with two separate bathrooms and living/kitchen area. It has wonderful views. Snorkelling is just 3 mins from the beach, but only in high-mid tide conditions. Reef is very nice. Staff is very friendly. Mary has organised our land tours (Lavena coastal walk and waterfalls in Bouma National park- don't miss them and take a guide for coastal walk as we got a bit lost) as we did our water-based activities previously in dive resort. Food was the best on this island- both breakfasts and the dinners cooked by Mary. We strongly recommend to use this option for a dinner. Two small things are to mention: no dark blinds/curtains in the rooms, so it is quite bright to sleep after sunrise and the tea pot and pots for cooking are huge (it would be good to have a small cooking pot). On weekend, it was a loud music from the restaurant below on the beach, but finished around 11pm. Overall, we enjoyed our stay tremendously."
