"We had a great family vacation. We had plenty of room with 7 adults and 2 kids. The pool for the condos is great for adults and kids. They also have a pond on site that has some huge fish in it. You can easily walk to the beach or make a very short drive to get to the beach. My family had a wonderful time and look forward to going back some time."

"We spent the week celebrating our youngest daughter's graduation from high school and enjoyed the property very much. Walking the path through the dunes to the beach was a no-go due to mosquitoes from early flooding but at no one's fault. We were within a short drive to the beach (thanks for posting about getting our vehicle beach permit). Great view and amenities--we ate in the screened-in porch every day! Highly recommend and would stay there again!"

"Nice little house on the river in Matagorda. The house was the perfect size for the two of us. We enjoyed drinking coffee in the mornings on the back deck looking out over the river and marsh lands. The furiture was comfortable and the house was clean when we got there. We ended up sleeping on the futon in the livingroom because the portable a/c unit in the bedroom was super loud and the bed was super soft in the middle. The dock light was nice, but did attract alot of bigs when on. FYI- the water has a bit of a sulfur smell, so we used bottled water for coffee. Parking was good and having an outdoor sink was nice when fishing on the dock to rinse off my hands. We used the hose to rinse of fishing poles and feet when we came back from the beach. All in all a great place to stay for the price."
