8.8/10 Excellent! (105 reviews)
Overall excellent property, staff, and experience. The highlights included a swim up bar, perfect sunset views, friendly staff, and a very nice gym (by travel and Africa standards). First time I have ever been at a hotel gym where a fitness trainer is available for advice. A few people took him up on it and he definitely knew what he was doing. Great ambiance in the hotel with very Arabic architecture that is beautiful. They arranged cars into town and excursions as desired.

10/10 Exceptional! (2 reviews)
Beautifully laid out, beach right out every front door, very clean, staff was helpful and friendly, great food and a quiet but still family atmosphere. You can tell the owners give a lot of attention to the details. Pool was so clean and beautiful. Also the landscaping was stunning and gave it an upscale resort feel while still having an intimate feel. They set up an excursion and airport ride and made the whole process easy. Would HIGHLY recommend this place and would stay here again!

"Nothing at all to complain about regarding the hotel, it was excellent, but just note that the bay and the tide makes it not ideal for swimming/bathing at all times. But on the other hand, there is a looong pool available, so if the idea is to exercise swimming, this pool was excellent."

"If you want to be close to history, locals in the marketplace, a wide variety of activities, a great beach with character, and old world amazing charm... then this is it. Not your typical westernized tropical beach which is far away (1-2 hrs drive) and found way up north. There is nothing up there ..."
