The good:
Nice hotel and lovely attentive staff.
The bad:
Probably my incorrect expectations but was expecting room AC for a 4*
The ugly:
Brave the unlit path, if you dare, to get to the Chineham shopping centre. No fault of the hotel but Hampshire County Council should sort this out as its an accident waiting to happen!

Pleasant enough stay. Room was well sized worh a window that opened. Both bedroom and bathroom were clean. Car parking is free which is rare for hotels in the area. Its also in a rural area so quiet which was perfect.
Tea and coffe is a kettle, no coffee machine but this is stated on the he hotel details.
There's no daily room servicing so you have to ask if you need anything e.g toilet paper, tea/coffee, towels.
The gym facilities were good although you have to pay to use it.
A couple of tweaks and this could be a cracking hotel.

Hotel needs a big revamp. When arriving the room smelled very clean, but I had a pillow with stains on. There were hair shavings by the sink and in the shower. The remote for tv was sticky. We stayed 2 adults and 1 child. The walls are so thin, we had people stay in the room next to us who made noise ...

Lovely staff as always. A few issues in our rooms (tv remote missing, wall lamp not working). Good breakfast, fresh and tasty. Excellent bar menu, very good smoked salmon sandwiches!
