"This was a fabulous historical property. The owners have taken great care in selecting all of the right updates for the property. Furniture and softgoods were excellent. It was clean and well appointed. We loved it so much we booked additional nights."

"Planned a short getaway to hike Mount Mitchell and this place could not have been more perfectly located to the trailhead. The Lodge is newly built, and ground are impeccably well maintained. The staff was super helpful. They even came by to drop off a lighter so the firepit could be put to use. They have a common use area with a ktichen and grills that can be utilized which is an added bonus as I don’t recall reading about all they had available to make the stay above and beyond expectations....

"This is just the coolest property!!! The location was absolutely stunning, with the expansive front porch overlooking Marshall & the French Broad River. Perfect for families or a group of friends that want individual bedrooms AND communal, shared spaces. It was pristine in terms of cleanliness & stocked with all the kitchen items you can wish for.
