The owners were kind. The communication was spot on and the property was amazing! "We very much enjoyed our stay at Baker's Acres. The cottage/barn was well-appointed and clean. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. My husband enjoyed watching March Madness each evening using our HBO account on the large TV. Everyone was so friendly in Langley. "It is a comfortable place centrally located for our needs. The bed and the stuffed chairs very comfortable. Little details of coffee for the coffee pot, detergent for the washing machine, spices, teas, and oils appreciated as well as several places to hang towels, yah! Also, liked the laundry basket."

The gardens will blow you away! It’s a quick drive to Olympic NP and to the ferry to go to Victoria, BC. Port Hadlock is a very cute little town. "The location and home was great. Saw deer and herons on the property. No mosquitoey was fantastic. Only thing that was a concern was some of the carpets were stained or dirty. I took pictures in case I was going to be charged but not too concerned. If you have a chance it is a nice be place to stay. Thank you"

"Valley View Motel is a great little "get away." It's rustic, it's clean, it's quiet. If you're looking for state of the art, top of line everything, this is not the place for you. But if you want a simple little cabin, friendly check in, not many people around and just a place to relax, read, write, or watch an old movie on a small TV, then it's a great place. I come here to unplug and I feel refreshed after a night or two and am a little sad when I leave."
