It was conveniently located to the trails for a pre-ride and there was plenty of space for us to spread out and prep our race gear and a garage for the bikes. The house is on a beautiful wooded lot and we saw several bucks and a doe eating apples off the tree. I visit Marquette 2-3 times a year and have stayed in many houses all over town. Four of us came out for an extended weekend of fishing and the location was very convenient for getting to grocery stores, downtown Marquette, the various boat launches around Marquette, and Munising as well. I will admit it was a bit of an adventure backing the boat in (there was no way we would have been able to turn the boat around in the yard/driveway), but it worked. The kitchen was very well-stocked. We brought our fillet knives with us, but everything else we needed was waiting for us. A new gas grill, Keurig coffee maker, comfortable beds (the pull out couch was the best I’ve ever slept on) and more. Last, but certainly not least, Lisa was fantastic; from the time we made the initial reservation until we checked in. She made sure we had each other’s respective contact info in advance should anything come up while we were there and was very easy to work with and accommodating as our guest list moved around a bit. ##### Donald W. The place is clean and kitchen is well equipped. We cooked breakfast every morning and they have the basic supplies (oil, salt, pepper etc), lots of room for 8 people to move around, the place is fairly secluded, but still accessible to town.
