Jul 16, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Quiet, wilderness cabin Our stay at Pond Island Lodge was great. Close to all the surrounding communities, clean and everything you might need. We loved the snacks, water and pizza in the freezer upon arrival. No need to run to the store if arriving late. Finding the location was a little difficult in the day time so I would recommend arriving in daylight. It is tucked back off the road. We had a link for the address but cell service might be spotty. It was house was spacious and clean. The owners were polite and responsive. We were welcomed with cold waters, frozen pizzas, and lots of snacks on the kitchen counter, which were a nice treat and very much appreciated. The owners seemed to go out of their way to make their guests feel welcomed. If you are looking for a quiet, rustic location, you wouldn’t be able to find a better spot than this. There was a fire pit available for use, although we didn’t use, it was a nice feature. Thanks for your hospitality! ##### Matthew F.
