The space

Boat tied up out back, kids in the pool, dinner on the grill: here is everything waiting for you.

Heated private pool (fees apply) with shaded lounge seating; a chiller is also available for summer.

Private 40 ft dock with power and water; one guest docked a 29 ft boat here.

Two double kayaks, fish-cleaning station, bait freezer, outdoor fridge and freezer.

Covered outdoor dining with a gas grill, beach chairs and a fully fenced yard (open on the canal side).

By boat, allow 20 to 30 minutes at idle through the canal to open water; it is a scenic ride past homes and boats.

2nd level: open-plan living with a 65 inch smart TV (DirecTV Stream, no cable), a balcony lounge, dining table and breakfast bar. The kitchen has quartz counters, stainless appliances, a dishwasher, drip and Keurig coffee makers. King bedroom with a smart TV; its full bathroom also opens to the kitchen.

3rd level: primary suite (king bed, water views, desk, en-suite with double sink and walk-in shower), king guest bedroom with smart TV, bunk room (twin-over-full bunk, TV) and a hall bathroom with shower and tub. Beds sleep 8 (3 kings and a twin-over-full bunk); no sofa bed.

Ground level: covered carport for 2 cars plus 1 more space, with room for a boat trailer. Also: washer and dryer, high-speed Wi-Fi, brand-new A/C (August 2025), dogs welcome with approval.

Good to know: no home heating, no shampoo provided (please bring your own), and neighborhood roosters crow at any hour.

Guest access

The home, pool, dock and fenced yard are yours alone. Your private entrance is on the side of the home, in front of the pool area, with keypad self check-in. Parking: covered carport for 2 cars plus 1 more space, room for a boat trailer. Expect stairs: living on the 2nd level, most bedrooms on the 3rd.

No home heating; A/C only.

Half of a duplex; the pool, dock, yard and entrance are yours alone. Traveling with a bigger group? We manage the other half too: ask us about booking both.

Neighborhood roosters can crow at any hour.

Dogs welcome with approval (one up to 25 lb auto-approved; up to 2 up to 50 lb each with our OK).

The neighborhood

Sombrero Beach is under 5 minutes by car, and Publix, shops, restaurants and the FlowRider at Surf Style are within walking distance. It is a peaceful canal-front street, with a scenic boat ride past waterfront homes on the way out. Once you clear the canal, Sombrero Reef and its snorkeling spots are within reach by boat, and Key West is about 1 hr 10 min by car for a day trip. One honest note: neighborhood roosters can crow at any hour.

Getting around

Drive times: Sombrero Beach under 5 min, Marathon airport about 5 min, Key West about 1 hr 10 min, Miami International Airport about 2 hr 15 min. Guests walk to Publix and the FlowRider at Surf Style. Parking: covered carport for 2 cars plus 1 uncovered space, with extra room for a boat trailer. Bringing a boat? Your private dock is out back; allow 20 to 30 minutes at idle through the canal to open water.

*Pool heat or pool chiller is available for $300 per week (plus tax) and $42.86 per additional day (plus tax). Requests must be made at least 24 hours before check-in. Requests made within 24 hours of check-in or after arrival are subject to an additional $75 activation fee (plus tax) and no refunds will be issued if a specific temperature is not reached.





*Pets are considered on a case by case basis and only after a paying a pet fee. Please do not book this home if you plan on bringing a pet without checking with us first



*Kayaks are heavy, and dock height may make launching and retrieval difficult for some guests. Please plan accordingly.

*3.9% Cancellation fee applies to ALL cancellations.



*Please note that a signed guest agreement is required prior to check-in. To facilitate this, we will need an email address to send the DocuSign document.



* We provide a complimentary starter pack of paper towel, toilet paper, dish & laundry detergent, dish soap, bar soap, trash bags & dish sponge.



*Max occupancy is the number of occupants the City allows and does not guarantee beds for that number. Please read the bedroom and bed descriptions thoroughly.

*Seasonal Seaweed Notice: Like much of the Florida Keys, our canal can experience seaweed at certain times of the year. On the ocean side, this usually happens in summer/fall while gulf-side canals see it more in winter/spring. It’s a natural part of the area and may affect the canal during your stay.
