Just 0.3 miles from Sombrero Beach, this modern 3BR + bonus bunk room, 2BA canal-front home offers ocean views, a private heated pool, 36-ft. dock with instant ocean access and plenty of privacy. Soak up the sunshine, enjoy beach days and stunning sunsets, then relax in the game room. Located in a quiet, walkable neighborhood close to everything Marathon has to offer. And yes—your pup is welcome, too!



    The Space:

    Inside, enjoy a spacious living area with vaulted ceilings, a fully equipped kitchen and dining space for eight. An air-conditioned sunroom overlooks the pool and opens to the back balcony, while the rooftop deck offers expansive open-water views. The downstairs game room is a fun, social space for all ages, featuring an arcade-style basketball hoop, full-size ping-pong table, and a cozy card table—perfect for friendly competition, family nights, or relaxing indoors after a day in the Keys.

Excellent stay at Stay Salty in Marathon — highly recommend!We had an amazing week at Stay Salty with our group of eight, and the house was perfect for us. The location can't be beat — just minutes from Sombrero Beach, and perfect if you're bringing a boat or planning to get out on the water. The space itself was fantastic, plenty of room for everyone. I can't say enough about the pool — it was large with plenty of room for the whole group, and honestly, we used the outdoor shower more than the one inside! The rooftop deck was a real highlight too — such a peaceful spot to unwind in the evenings and do some stargazing. On top of all that, the house was spotless when we arrived. You could tell the owners really take pride in the property. We'd absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great Marathon getaway.

House is beautiful, kitchen very well stocked, exactly how described on the VRBO website. Pool was small but perfect for our party of four. The two downstairs beds need a little attention. The king size one was very squeaky on every little move. The queen size bed's headboard constantly hit the wall with the slightest move. The couple that stayed down there was not pleased and did not get very good sleep. Toilet paper, laundry detergent, no kleenex, etc. very limited. Just shocked for the price we paid for the week, more was not included. Overall very nice area and we did enjoy our stay. Definitely would recommend.

Upon arrival of the house, the cleaning ladies were there, we were told at 3:30pm the house was ready, we didn’t arrive until 5:15. I checked with the property manager and spoke to the cleaning ladies..the house had a horrific smell when I walked in. We left for an hour and when we got back the house was not clean at all and had a horrible smell. There were popsicle wrappers in the pool and all around the pool and in game room, dog fur all over the beds and floor. The sheets on 2 of the beds were dirty and full of dog fur, I stripped them and washed on my own that evening. The smell of the home was horrific, we debated on staying at a hotel bc it was that bad. The next day we were told the cleaning ladies would come back and clean, we met someone who worked for the property manager at the house he brought in stuff to deal with the smell, I don’t believe the cleaning ladies came, if they did they didn’t do anything. My husband texted the property manager twice about paying for the pool to be heated but never heard back, we had issues with the the TV’s, which I eventually fixed and one of the AV guys came to help fix. The pool and weather was perfect besides that we will not rent here again.
