Sometimes the pictures online of a property does not match when seen in person. However, the online pictures of the house and being there in person was the opposite. It was even better! We were so happy with all the space we had. From the bathrooms, big bedrooms, large kitchen, and seating area. We loved the pool area just as much! Some things to look into are the following:the chairs outside need to be tightened upwe were hoping for a large umbrella to use outside by the pool. This would be great for people that require more shade. Or even some sort of canopy that covers part of the pool. It actually was a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be. We had 10 adults and were able to spread out and never felt in top of each other. Layout of living place was awesome. Heated pool and hot tub were really awesome as well. View can’t be matched. Great view of sunrise. Only downside is not wanting to get in the ocean here. The beach was great and very well maintained but the water is super shallow for very far out. Saw some people fishing in it though. Overall we loved it and would definitely come back. ##### Mike M. Overall the property is a great vacation rental but our stay was spoiled by the construction of a new property next door. We stayed for around ten days with our family, the property was of a good standard although the kitchen was badly designed with limited storage for food etc if you were planning anything more than a couple of days stay. The quality of finish of the kitchen wasn’t great and below the standard I would have expected for a property such as this. The beach is just as it is described in the particulars, not possible to swim from or paddle in the ocean as the shoreline is thick deep mud. That said there’s a volley ball net there which we made use of. The biggest challenge for us was the construction of the new house next door, literally a matter of a few yards away. The workers typically arrived with their machinery at 6am every day - when I say machinery I mean pneumatic drills, diggers, cement trucks and the like. The noise was incessant and the workers were there every day (including Saturdays and Sunday) from 6 to at least 4\. It really spoiled our entire vacation. If you plan to go here it’s worth checking with the agent if the work is still on going. We weren’t advised of it and so it was a big surprise to us when we arrived. There is also what appears to be a vacant lot on the other side of the property to the construction that looks prime for development and so I would imagine that construction could be an ongoing challenge here for some time. ##### Nick V. The plus of the property is that it really is as pictured in the listing. The pool had hot tub issues but property mgmt was always quick to reset remotely and sent out a pool service technician - had to do this several times during our week. Note, the ocean is NOT for swimming, but is beautiful to look at. The empty lot to the right (in listing pictures) is no longer empty as a house is being built. Thus, there is some construction noise during the day as well as road noise (house is right off Rt. One). There is a fire pit in the sand and the owners provide some wood - very fun. There is a volley ball net in the sand and kids had a great time playing. The owners do a good job of having the seaweed cleared so that “low tide Keys stink” is minimal. The kitchen is pretty well appointed but the frying pans are teflon and are really scratched - if you are worried about forever chemicals bring your own. There is a nice modern Webber grill that works well. There is ample seating both indoor and outdoor on the decks. Make sure to bring shower soap and hangers (there are limited hangers) and your Bluetooth speaker (we forgot ours). Overall it was a great place, very clean, modern, with beautiful views. ##### Rachel S. We contacted the property manager and were told they would have someone out that day. No one ever showed up and we were there a week. My son finally got it working after spending several hours working on it. The downstairs bathroom shower leaked the entire visit and flooded the bathroom every time someone took a shower and they said they knew about it and it "needed a part". The house itself was stunning with your own private beach, pool and hot tub, unfortunately the beach leading into water was soft and you sink about 6 inches or more if you try to walk out into ocean (but we were made aware of that before booking), there are several beaches like Bahia Honda State Park beach that are a short drive away and are amazing. I would recommend the property include some water amenities like canoes, paddle boards, kayaks or snorkel masks which would enhance the stay, beyond that I would recommend this property to anyone. ##### bernie c. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend it to others. The house was recently remodeled and had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We would unquestionably stay here again! Property Description Updates While the property description was mostly accurate, we suggest one update. The "Upper Level Master Bedroom" might be better described as an "Upper Level Bedroom" since it shares a hallway bathroom, rather than having a private en-suite. Minor Critiques We have a few small critiques, but these should not deter anyone from staying at this lovely property: 1 The front outside stairs were somewhat slippery and had sharp edges. Our group found them to be dangerous, so caution is advised. 2 The downstairs master bedroom shares a wall with the main living room, and an open vent allows sound to travel between the two rooms. This could be an issue for those who want to sleep early while others are still awake in the living room. 3 The property description accurately states that the water is shallow and has a soft bottom, making it unsuitable for launching kayaks or paddleboards. The beach/shore is indeed muddy, so be prepared for a less-than-ideal entrance to the Atlantic Ocean. No one in our group attempted it. The house was set up well for our needs. Enjoyed the pool and outside space. Beautiful sunrises enjoyed from the balcony and beach each morning. Had some questions and Sandy was responsive to our messages. Visited the aquarium, the turtle hospital/recuse, snorkeled in Islamorada and visited Key West. House was clean and well equipped. Great location - very private and convenient. The house is well equipped, it had everything we needed. It’s a stunning view of the ocean. The pool and patio were our favorite places, very spacious and again the view was beautiful. One awkward issue is that the master bathroom does not have a door and the toilet is located right at the entrance to the bathroom. Consequently, privacy at times is an issue. The house is beautiful!! The view is stunning. I couldn't help looking out every day and thinking how lucky we were to have found such a beautiful place. Watching the birds and boats on the water every day was so peaceful. We loved the pool and hot tub and spent most of our day in one or the other. lt had plenty of space for all of us to spread out and yet had room for us to sit together and enjoy meals and games. It had all the amenities we needed and then some. The location is a short drive to all of our favorite places to eat. The property manager was very responsive to all of our questions/requests. We will most definitely be returning...as we sit looking at snow and freezing at home we wish it was tomorrow!!! ##### Melanie S. Gorgeous views of the water from most of the rooms.
