"We stayed three nights in mid-August 2025 to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. I am not sure which was better, the hotel staff or the property. Both were superb!

"I stayed at Oxford House for a business trip and this quaint accommodation was perfect. Staff were professional, rooms were cleaned daily and within walking distance to the business centre. The continental breakfast could use a bit more variety and the bed was a bit tougher for my liking but overall a great stay and I would return. "

"Great location - moments from two bus routes and the ferry (which runs to hamilton in mornings and evenings). The dock meant we could get picked up by boat! We used the cove every evening - incredible sunsets! This end of the island is gorgeous!! Itwas easy to get in and out of hamilton and ferries from nearby dockyard make the whole island easily accessible. And loads of facilities at dockyard make it easy to go on boat trips, hire jet skies or kayaks. The cottage itself is spacious and cool. Good kitchen facilities, plenty of hanging space, super clean, huge beds! We would def stay there again!"
"I had a great stay at this resort. It
reminds me of an old catskills resort from the 60’s…. but on the beach! It’s not upscale fancy, it’s warm, friendly and the staff make you feel like family. If you want fancy, this is not your place, if you liked the movie Dirty Dancing, book it! Did not have one bad meal and the food was delicious! Not a lot for kids to do, but it’s a great place to ditch the cell phones and play some board games. Accommodations are not really updated but are clean! No complaints. Staff are always helpful. I will go back!

"The place was fantastic. We went for our honeymoon and stayed in July. The outdoor area and location of the property was perfect. Plenty of safe swimming (with water shoes) and places to check out. Quick walk to bus stop to take you anywhere on the island. Only downside was the interior of the house. The stove had some issues that we worked out and some of the receptacles didn’t work (not a huge deal) and one of the French doors wouldn’t shut all the way. Would definitely stay here again without a question, definitely recommend! "

"Nice, spread out house that provides indoor and outdoor space to congregate but also privacy in bedrooms and bathrooms. 2 minute walk to beach with chairs and umbrellas and 5 minute walk to Somerset long bay beach. Walkable to good size grocery store, a few takeout restaurants and bus stop. The nooks and crannies of the property are amazing. Hammock, moon gate, benches, outdoor showers, so many birds and gorgeous lush foliage surround the house. "

"We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at Jody’s place. From start to finish (literally), Jody made our stay so simple and easy. We stayed in Bermuda over the big holiday cup match where most things on the island are closed. We didn’t realize this when booking, but Jody was so beyond considerate that he offered to bring us to the grocery store before it closed on our way home from the airport (which he also picked us up/dropped us off from) so we would have the things we needed for the upcoming holiday. These incredibly nice gestures to make sure we had the best vacation as possible continued through our entire trip. Just a lovely, helpful human being with a beautiful home that overlooks an amazing bay. Like I said, we could not be happier with our stay and are absolutely looking forward to booking another stay at Jody’s place. Thank you Jody & Cathy!!!"
Historic Belfield Beach Estate on Long Bay Beach-Close to Everything

"Our group of four sibs, their spouses and a plus-one had a wonderful week at Belfield. The estate has a wonderful setting - the beaches, the birds, the chickens, the fruit, the ocean view. It is a great location for groceries, eating out and taking the bus. The house is a perfect balance of gracious elegance and relaxed, casual comfort. The living room and outside patio easily accommodated our group of nine and the dining room was perfect for great evening meals and conversation. Several in our group particularly noted the quality of the beds and the AC kept the sweaty contingents comfortable.Ben was a great host who answered all my questions before and during our stay promptly. He was very responsive to all our requests and his recommendations re transport, restaurants and chef services were much appreciated. One week was just not enough. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending Belfield to anyone."
