Extremely disappointed with this hotel and the way our stay was handled. The room was way overpriced for the condition and amenities. There was no pool, and our first room didn't even have a working TV, so we had to switch rooms. The second room wasn't any better—the toilet ran constantly and the TV wouldn't even shut off. When we brought up the issues and asked for some type of credit for the expensive room and all the inconveniences, no one was willing to do anything. Instead, we were told that if we booked AGAIN, they would give us 10% off. Why would I want to book another stay after this experience? For the amount we paid, I expected basic things in the room to actually work and much better customer service when they didn't. Definitely not worth the price, and I would not recommend staying here.

Some issues with cleanliness. Dirty pillows & sheets. Spider living in the bathroom towels. Room didn’t have pictured mini fridge. No microwave for convenience either. Also, if you’re looking to stay in Grand Rapids to get out, go downtown. This isn’t in the nicer area of Grand Rapids, close to the things you’d be looking to do. Plenty of closer options in the same price range and likely same quality or better.

Great location. Modern, clean hotel. Great room with full kitchen. Easy breakfast options. Would stay again!

Check in was flawless

We had a very pleasant stay at Country Inn & Suites Grand Rapids. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were cheerful, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. The complimentary continental breakfast was better than average, with a nice variety of options. The rate was very reasonable, and the location is convenient to a wide range of local attractions and sights. I would definitely stay here again.
