MacIntyre Lake Vacation Packages

Disappointed in our stay here. We had laundry to wash, but was unable to dry it due to broken dryer and other one being used. Instead of accommodating us we had to pack our wet laundry to bring home out of province. Myself and my two young children were also outside to use the pool, which we had to get the net ourselves to get bugs and other things out of the pool. We we told it closed at 9, we were late checking in and made it to the pool around 8:15. By 8:30, two men came to us to say the pool was closing and to finish up. It was so uncomfortable overall and not a pleasant last day to our family vacation.

Hotel is undergoing renovations (Aug 2026) and the hallway on the floor we were on was not clean. Our room was very clean.

we had just spent 6.5 hrs to get to the hotel. I asked the young man if we could check in a half hour early. I told him that we were exhausted but he made no exceptions. this is the first time in all of my years that we were not allowed to check in early.. I understand that the rooms may not be completely ready for occupancy. I have used the other hotel chains in the past and the earliest I ever was able to check in was 11:30 AM. I didn’t think that I asked very much of him. He didn’t care and lacked empathy for our situation. The hotel had a off putting smell as well as the room. The ceiling and walls had drywall repairs that were very poorly done. Air conditioning was great and quiet, the sheets were clean. The door had no security bar or chain. The hotel is in poor condition and in need of extensive repairs. First time that my family was disappointed with a hotel stay. We do NOT recommend this location at all. Big disappointment.

Room was clean and staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms may need a bit of a refurbishment. My door didn’t open or close properly so I had to hip check it every time I wanted to open/close it. The tv remotes also didn’t work well (volume controls didn’t work on either available remote). However, the room was perfectly comfortable and the location was in close proximity to everything I needed to do while I was in town.
