Valley of the Kings, Arabic Wādī Al-Mulūk, also called Valley of the Tombs of the Kings or Arabic Wādī Bībān al-Mulūk, long narrow defile just west of the Nile River in Upper Egypt. "Al Moudira Hotel was the absolute highlight of my trip. I originally booked two nights and ended up staying six, which really says everything. The staff was exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely accommodating. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, and the entire property feels like an oasis. The food was excellent, and breakfast offered a huge variety of fresh products sourced directly from their own farm on the property. Al Moudira was a stark contrast to every other place I stayed in Egypt, including prestigious five-star hotels. It’s simply not comparable. Where other hotels felt busy or impersonal, this place offered pure relaxation and authenticity. This is the only way I want to experience Egypt going forward. I will absolutely be back."
