"We stayed the week of July 15-22 and loved this property. We had 6 adults and our 2 granddaughters, ages 22 months and 15 months. The gigantic yard was perfect for the grandkids, and we had a pontoon and small fishing boat along, so we appreciated the dock. The house itself was very clean with an open floorplan, and stocked with coffee, dishwasher and laundry soaps, a high chair and pack n play, and many other necessities. "Nice and peaceful pet friendly home away from home. Best get-away from a fast -paced world. Complete with linens, toiletries, and kitchen supplies. There was also a convenient grill for dinner. "This place is exactly what is listed! Small, cozy and private. Located centrally in Idlewild, it was the perfect distance from everything. The kitchen was fully loaded with all the utensils! It was a beautiful view to wake up to. All of my questions were answered promptly by the owner, before arriving. One of the best stays I've had away from home! The hosts were great to communicate with. I would definitely stay again!"

"We had an incredible stay at this beautiful cabin! It was cozy and welcoming, and the location was perfect for my entire family to fish, kayak and enjoy the lake view. Everything was clean and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property manager was incredibly helpful with answering any of our questions and when our wifi went out, she made sure that the rest of our stay went without a hitch. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing lake getaway!"

"This place was in a great location! We were able to walk to local restaurants, it was close to the water, and only a 20 minute drive to Mesick for the Jeep Blessing event! The bed in the main floor bedroom was very comfortable. The house had plenty of room for people to stay. There was a lot of room to hang out and socialize. Having a fire pit in the backyard was nice. The owners were great about responding to messages! The house is a bit on the old side. Many plugs were only 2 prong. No towels...

"Everything was perfect from start to finish. The hosts are great! Helpful, communicative, and made sure we knew all the things there were to do and see in the area. The cabin was wonderful, peaceful and relaxing. We did a winter rafting tour of the Pine through Pine River Paddlesports. Highly recommend! We take our pup everywhere with us and are grateful that Hawk’s Nest Kabin is dog friendly. We will definitely book again!"

"When I pulled up and saw the signs ( not that I’m political) on the property I started to cancel, but when I went in the lady (Pat) was very pleasant and friendly. I end up staying and I must say that my stay was wonderful and very relaxing. I loved that the cabin was very clean and equipped with everything I needed. I’m planning on going back real soon."
