The cabin is clean, well decorated makes you feel right at home especially having a 7ft Christmas tree in the living room. The host was very prompt in responding to our two very minor questions about the lock and more wood for the stove. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. The only thing I would say is the kitchen pots and pans are very minimal. So if you are like us and cook most meals I would recommend bringing what you need pan wise. Helpful, communicative, and made sure we knew all the things there were to do and see in the area. The cabin was wonderful, peaceful and relaxing. We did a winter rafting tour of the Pine through Pine River Paddlesports. Highly recommend! We take our pup everywhere with us and are grateful that Hawk’s Nest Kabin is dog friendly. It's clean, well-cared for, and decorated in hunting and fishing themes. There are two roomy bedrooms, a small kitchen, and a small eating area inside plus a picnic table outside. They have a welcome book that covers questions about your stay to locations of food, lakes, wildlife and everything in between. The hot tub is great with a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by woods.
