We had two different rooms. One with a balcony that overlooked the busy street (it's very quiet at night) and had amazing views of the mountains, and one that looked the other way and was very quiet all day and didn't have as spectacular views, but we're certainly good. Both were good, quality rooms. Generally, you don't change rooms and don't have a great sense of the options. (I made a booking mistake and had two have two separate reservations which caused the room switch)

A Very Pleasant Stay in Milan
I really enjoyed my stay at Uptown Palace. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay, and the location is very convenient, with the underground just a few minutes’ walk away.
I particularly enjoyed the breakfast. The restaurant is on the 13th floor and has glass windows all around, so you get beautiful views across Milan while having breakfast. It was a lovely way to start the day and definitely one of the things I enjoyed most about the hotel.
Overall, I had a very nice stay and would definitely choose Uptown Palace again the next time I’m in Milan. A good hotel, convenient location and a really enjoyable breakfast experience.
