Being on the ground floor wasn’t the best because you couldn’t have the window open. The window was one of those wide open windows without a screen so anyone or anything could easily peak inside or come inside. It was right off the street and wasn’t that ideal. If only they had a differnt type of window installed. It did get a bit warm in the room but likely they did have an ax type of unit. It was a bit noisy but it worked fine. Other than the windows being the main issue the place was fine.

The good:
Location, location, location: close to Victoria train station, major attractions, shopping, restaurants, and Chinatown.
Decent breakfast a definite plus.
Clean.
The not so good:
Tight Bathroom even for one person, forget two people in there.
Very weak shower water pressure made bathing a challenge.
Fairly hard mattress.
No room service. No ice machine
Narrow corridors with cleaning carts making walking single file.

The rooms were very small compared to other RIU hotels. The staff were not very friendly, and the breakfast was not very good compared to other RIU properties I have stayed at. Overall, the experience did not meet my expectations. I have come to expect from RIU hotels.

"Short covered walk from LHR T5 and nice large room (I was in a Sup King) with bath. Small bit OK gym (no locker room, toilet or shower)….but that’s where it ends. BF expensive, no pool, spa 40 GBP extra (and I couldn’t even make a booking for 6hrs if I wanted to pay that for a sauna and jacuzzi- ..."
