Lower Montague Vacation Packages

My family really enjoyed this cottage! Its very roomy, and close to everything. The cottage was very clean, modern, and felt like we were right at home! * Our only negative would be that the wifi was extremely slow so it was hard to connect the TV streaming services and use our phones. We will definitely be back! Our favorite spot we've stayed in cavendish yet!

Outdated, smells bad,noise, area have no dinning options

We arrived early and luckily Donald the property asst allowed us to go inside the camper as check-in instructions were vague. Total lack of amenities as per industry standards, i.e no coffee maker, no coffee cups, no mixing bowls, no microwaveable cookware, lack of cutting utensils, lack of bedding, no broom for sweeping, no dish scrubbies, no kleenex, paper towels nor salt and pepper. Trailer was not level. Septic tank was not cleaned out before arrival. Had to call James the property host for assistance several times. No propane lighter and no propane before an approaching storm. Found cigarette butts when opening pull-out bed, which goes against no smoking policy. No in-house Instructions available for A/C, gas stove, etc. Did not appreciate use of bleach for cleaning. This was not our first trailer rental. Very disappointed and certainly below the industry standard by other campground rentals. This resort has potential but needs to be managed efficiently and effectively. This reservation was non-refundable, however, due to all the issues we had, we feel that the price could have been adjusted to reflect goodwill and acceptance to step up to industry standards. Renters beware of non refundable policy because this host does not acknowledge discrepancies or deficiencies, i.e. no price adjustment.

Great location, close to the beach!

The staff and owner were really great! We stayed for 2 nights and they helped us with getting kayaking ready. There are two issues we had, one was we didn’t realize how cold it gets at night (even in July). We stayed in an older plastic dome so it felt more like a tent. Make sure you bring winter PJs/extra layers. The other matter was outside of our control. The shower area drained towards the toilet so everything was wet after a shower. Aside from these two things everything else was amazing. I definitely want to come back but maybe stay in the hard domes with a kitchenette.
