Our stay at the Wave was just one night, and we didn't make it to the beach as we had intended. We had the family suite, which is basically two rooms with a door in between. This was a great space for our family of 4 to spread out and we appreciated the 2nd washroom! The rooms were clean and updated. The free continental breakfast was a nice bonus - waffles, bagels, toast, cereal, and fruit. The only minor drawbacks were that you could hear people outside the room as they walked to their rooms, rolled their luggage and had conversations on the way, as well as the metal bedframes that made a loud noise if you accidentally kicked them. Not dealbreakers for us though. Overall, a good value for the money we paid.

The room was very cute and spacious, had a great set up. However you can hear everything that happens outside the door, like people walking by and the sweeping happening throughout the day. The area around the hotel has a lot to offer. Target, Dunkin Donuts and Olive Garden to name a few. Very short walk to the pier and I would stay here again.

The pool needed a good clean. The rooms were nice but there were black worms coming out of the shower drain. Even after getting someone to come clean the shower the worms still came back. The toilet was constantly running which was annoying. I would still stay here again based on the location

My only real complaint is my the floor in the room wasn’t as clean as it looked. My feet we black from walking around in there. Everything else seemed to be clean, staff was friendly, and breakfast was good

Spa suite with balcony was beautiful. Could hear a little noise. Bed was comfy. Staff was helpful and friendly. Close to LAX. Parking was rough, especially because guests double parked making the small parking even smaller. Free breakfast had a very small selection but there’s a Starbucks right across the street.
