Small but comfortable

Small but comfortable beds. Great location. Only downside is that there is only one bathroom. I would probably stay again.

Andrew, was helpful and accommodating. He was knowledgeable about everything PodShare. (They're a small business that is big on community). He bought steaks for two people whom we celebrated their birthday a few days into my stay. A few of us chipped in & contributed. Abby, the manager, made two delicious cakes. It was a good time 👍.

1. Worst place I have stayed at so far. No similarities between picture and the properties. 2. Unprofessional staff, didn’t accommodate early check-in and asked for $ to get me in 3. When I agreed to pay staff said they’ll send me the link but never received it and I had to wait at metro station for 2 hrs as they were unreachable in the morning 4. Zero privacy 5. Unclean washroom 6. Unsafe neighbourhood, full of junkies. I saw a guy peeing right outside of the property. 7. Sofas are torned apart 8. I feel cheated for my stay here.

Not bad

Not a bad stay if you are used to communal living. There is no privacy at all, and might be long waits for the bathroom at night. Would not recommend for solo female travelers, otherwise an okay accommodation if you are prepared for the experience! Place is clean and liveable, everyone is fairly considerate and keeps the volume down after hours.

The place itself is okay, but their code to open the place up didn't work (I didn't get it wrong, I had the correct code), so with it being 4AM and no one being around to help, I had to sleep in my car. This was a two day trip, this happened on the first day. I didn't expect to get a refund for that night but for the night after too where I told them I won't be returning? BS

Property is tucked inside, off main streets. super low-key. It is part of condo building on its own street, was surprisingly quiet in the middle of Hollywood. A block in either direction has food/ shopping/ studios. Main doors were left open to let light and fresh spring air. Seemed safe, as no strange or homeless people seemed to walk on Cosmo street, clean street, security for buildings across street usually comes out. Warning; it is an open loft, hostel. Not hostel w/ rooms and beds. Like a studio apartment w/ a few neatly arranged beds surrounding a kitchen table. Everyone was super quiet, kept to themselves. But this place is definitely vibes for the aspiring person looking into living in LA. Sidenote: management could up training on receiving guest and extra care on general cleanliness. but overall not disgusting or dirty feeling, just felt lived in w guest coming in and out. Pod Bed was comfortable, firm, clean, but kept hitting head on ceiling and the clothes rack kinda useful but also dangerous. Cool they had urinal, but also not sure why a cabinet was in way. Anyways. Freehand has a great lobby to hang and do work and go back to bed. But Podshare Hollywood room is more livable. Wanted to try Podshare Venice to get the vibes of LA, but next time.

I was very nervous at first the idea of sharing a room with other people.but it was very safe and clean and the staff was on site in the day time which made it easy communication was top teir.. It was a great experience showers was clean kitchen area was clean

La atención del staff fue excelente, la limpieza y el ambiente fueron muy buenos. Lo único que no era muy bueno era que se tienen varios ventiladores encendidos todo el tiempo, lo que no ayuda a conciliar el sueño.

Good Comcept of the Pods. Very good staff here. But: Riff Raff likes to come in sometimes. The room overheats at might, because the climate system has a problem. A window you could open would help in cool nights. This is no rocket science. Only one bathroom. No morning coffe or breakfast like in other hostels. Kitchen equipment could need an update. No papertowels in kitchen.

Top Lage, nette Leute, aber nicht so sauber

Die Lage ist wirklich gut, um vieles in Hollywood fußläufig zu erkunden. Die Metro Station war auch nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Die Mitarbeiter sind super nett und hilfsbereit. Ab 22 Uhr ist Bettruhe und ich habe selten ein Hostel erlebt, in dem es wirklich so schön ruhig ist und sich alle daran halten. Internet ist gut. Die Sauberkeit lässt allerdings sehr zu wünschen übrig. Wir hatten einige Kakerlaken bzw. Ungeziefer z. B. In der Küche. Küchen Handtücher lohnen sich nicht mehr zu waschen, die sollte man direkt entsorgen. Kühlschrank müsste einmal grundgereinigt werden, denn die ganzen Gummilippen sind schwarz vom Schimmel
