The property is on a quiet street across from a golf course in a residential neighborhood, but in the flight path of the Santa Monica Airport so small plane traffic noise is heard only during the day. The bathroom is a bit small and with limited shelf/counter space for toiletries. While the owners are next door - you have a completely private entry. Park on 21st (as in front of the place is no parking). If you like to sleep in a dark place, this isn't it as there are street lights that make the room fairly light for the night. I used a sleep mask and it was no problem. ##### Robin M. There was a nice (well stocked) local grocery store within 15 minutes walking distance, which was very convenient. The neighborhood was lively, with people out exercising and walking their dogs- my son even went on a run each night, he felt that comfortable. There were plenty of towels and bedding, plus there was a twin size rollaway bed and the couch could fold down into a sleeper. Even better, we were only about 10-15 minutes from Santa Monica Pier!
