We stayed here for 5 nights for our honeymoon in August. We pre-booked the spa, a cooking class, wine tasting and a cocktail masterclass. Everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were great, all very friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. They really went out of their way to make sure we had a great time.
The breakfast buffet was very well stocked with delicious fruits, cheeses, meat and pastries. The views of the lake from the top floor restaurant are stunning. We ate at LeBolle twice and the food and service are both of the highest standard.
We had a lovely experience at this hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Stresa and Lake Maggiore.

The hotel grounds and spa were beautiful
However, the room: decor, comfort and usability let’s down the hotel and thus the experience
The WiFi in the room was patchy and the tv only had Italian speaking programs and no option for subtitles in a chosen language. This coupled with the poor WiFi meant that on the 3 rainy days of our trip you are limited for things to do sadly

"Do not stay here, music till 3am, the windows, doors and rooms aren’t sound proof at all. The evening staff at reception barely spoke English and wanted to keep our passports, barely got any sleep as you’d hear EVERYTHING on your floor.
