We arrived back to hotel around 11 pm on a Monday night after celebrating the successful defenses of our daughters dissertation and on arrival there was a significant group of about a dozen individuals outside the hotel and adjacent property who were loud , argumentative and unkept. Urinating in public outside of the entrance to the parking area. More than one individual

Quick and easy check in and check out. Quiet atmosphere. Also offered a variety of free breakfast options. Hotel room was in good condition and beds were comfortable.

Minimal signage so we drove around the block a couple times to find it....not a nice neighborhood. Add to that, they lock the front doors at night, and the night person at the front desk yells through the window at you, to go round back to the back door. That in itself is not acceptable, but when the ramp down to and around the back door is where the homeless and high hang out it's reason not to use this hotel......especially when our door key did not open the door and we where literally chased away to bang on the front door to get in.

We understand under new ownership, there were ants in our room on the 9th floor also initially we weren't happy with our room but for $20 the staff upgraded our room, hopefully in better conditions next year if we come back

Our room unfortunately smelt like cigarette smoke there were also lots of ants on the ground in our room. Not sure if it was room specific, I didn't see any in the rest of the hotel. 1 of the elevators was down the whole time we were there and a lot of homeless people sleep outside during the night
