We stayed at The Lensbury before heading into central London. It was a beautiful, quiet resort. The grounds were like a fairytale. It is a fabulous location for visits to Richmond and bushy park. I felt very safe in the area with lots of dining and shopping places within walking distance. Breakfast was delicious. I would absolutely stay again.

Easy to find, plenty of parking. Large hotel with plenty of facilities Inc accommodation, dining, leisure and conference located on the bank of the Thames River at Teddington lock. Hampton Court Palace and other destinations a short drive away.

The venue looks better from outside than it is. The pool was ok but not far off from a local pool that you may find in various areas in London. The bar was similar to a large OK pub but again nothing particularly special. The room was adequate but again just OK. No rooms service or any items in fridge. Small.

Pretty area south west london, definitely needing a car as it’s quite far from train and bus location. Was put in the newer area called Ascot House which was a 5 min walk from the main lodge and the room was fairly small but ok. Needed room key to pass through a number of doors to access this area.

I have stayed at The Lensbury for many years and always really enjoyed the location, surroundings and general vice around this lovely hotel. Easy free parking and good breakfast, however, room on the 1st floor was a little tired with a tiny TV and old bed. A wheel was missing and hole in the carpet, when I reported this to reception they quickly gave me a different room on the 3rd floor which was better but still in need of decorating and updating. Hotel bar and restaurant are always well presented and staff were excellent. Hotel grounds are exceptional with lovely views of the Thames. Prices have increased a lot this year but rooms are dated, so slightly unjustified increases for no additional benefit, so maybe that needs to be addressed.

The building was built around 1938 so don’t expect a modern luxury, but instead embrace the quirkiness! At first, the beds seem old, but they were very comfortable! The sheets were soft, clean, and crisp. Air-conditioning worked very well and the windows opened. That location and things to do while staying at the property are amazing and the Buffay breakfast starts and ends early, but it is totally worth the money! The dinner choices were varied and delicious. The staff were all so polite and helpful! It was a bit of a taxi/Uber ride from LHR, but it is on the Thames!
