"Clean, quiet location. Walkable to breakfast joints and Deke's Market/Deli. Comfortable bed. Love the kitchenette. High ceilings so the room temperature stayed on the cool side. The Panasonic microwave/oven was high performance and allowed us many options for reheating some foods like our Hawaiian rice and crisp up our chicken katsu and leftover pizza. Perfect idea! The bathroom is also high ceiling and didn't get steamy from the shower; there's a window to open if that became a problem. Love the rainshower head, but we could have used more water pressue than the gentle rainfall it gave. We felt the room was too cool for us when we arrived but had a hard time figuring out the controls on the thermostat and ended up turning it off. The room never got stuffy even though we did that. We also had a small problem of ants crawling up from behind the bathroom sink one night after returning from our outing and contacted the staff right away. Great communication! They made plans immediately to come and cleaned out the problem area the very next day. Would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone."

"Weds a good update of the property. Security gates on the property were all broken and taped so homeless individuals were sleeping inside the property gates at night. Great view however from the sun deck and they gave us blankets for sit with our fire pit at night."

"Cottage was very clean . Good selection of cooking utensils and pans . Great place for dogs . Big fluffy bath towels , but couldn't find any kitchen towels. Same comment as others about refrigerator door cant be opened unless kitchen door is closed . Great fire pit and BBQ. Neighbors are friendly . Trail from cottage to beach needs work to trim ivy and make safer footing , but a cement stair beach access is 2 houses over , so that convenient . Overall , a fantastic cottage , great water views and we will certainly be returning ."

"Absolutely charming little cottage just a short walk up from the beach. The beach itself is great, though busy. Lots of places you can walk to, including a local beer garden, and Starbucks is less than a block away for morning coffee. Extremely clean, though the property is a little older. Very quaint. Parking is limited, but it wasn't a probelm during my stay. Would return."

"The beachnest was wonderful for my girls weekend. The multiple decks and rooftop area were fabulous. The location was great. Easy walk to the beach where we enjoyed a spectacular sunset. Because the harbor bridge was out, driving around took a little more time than expected. Of course, no fault of the rental property. The carpets could use a good steam, but overall the property was very clean. Comfortable beds in all three rooms. Large, easily shareable bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you could need for cooking. The house is located in a walkable, quiet, residential neighborhood with plenty of parking. I would definitely recommend this property for a group gathering."

"Amazing experience for my family on my birthday! Few minute walk from the beach and lots of amenities. I cooked every day and the kitchen had everything! More than we needed I loved our stay here! Definitely will come back for a beach trip again!"
