Carousel Beach Inn

"I’m a mom that was traveling alone with my 2 kids. What I really appreciated, even tho it was a open air type hotel, all entry points to access hallways and rooms had locked gates that required keycard to access to hallways and bedroom doors, so that made me feel safer with the kids. It was like 10 steps to the front of the board walk, which was awesome! The whole reason we came, a little fun weekend at the boardwalk before school started again. I thought maybe it would he noisy being so close to boardwalk but we got back to hotel about 9pm and I had no problem getting my youngest to sleep, no loud noises from parking lot or park and we had a slider and balcony facing boardwalk parking lot. The free breakfast was great too! My kids LOVED getting to make their own waffles. For the cost of hotel, can’t beat it. I will 100% be coming back again. :) also, icing on top, I’ve stayed in other hotels and parking was a nightmare, this hotel had easy access parking at no extra cost AND they let me park a few hours before my check in time so I didn’t have to pay to park in the boardwalk parking lot. I was able to get a parking pass from hotel to park then we just came back a few hours later and checked into our room and went back to boardwalk."

"If you want a property right next to the beach (1 minute walk), this is the property for you. Very big home with two kitchens and 2 living rooms as well as 2 outdoor decks, multiple bathrooms, a huge family dining table, amazing game room with all the games and beach supplies you could want, with plentiful driveway parking, washer and dryer, 2 minute walk to delicious mom & pop restaurant with tacos/enchiladas/etc and small corner store. Of note, it is required to wash, dry and replace all dishes that are used, dump all trash in outdoor dumpster, and wash/dry/fold all towels used. Child and pet friendly. We ran into a bit of a time-crunch at the end of the trip, but understandable request. We highly recommend and would stay again if in the area."

"We had a wonderful stay. The house was beautiful and comfortable, obviously well maintained, with much thought that went into it's design. It was lovely to enjoy the ocean view from the second floor from the kitchen and dining area as well as the comfortable living room area. The upstairs had an indoor/outdoor feel to it with the balcony doors open. The hosts also really thought of everything needed to make the house comfortable. The kitchen was probably the most well stocked of any house we've ever rented, the towels and bedding were of very high quality, there was beach equipment in the garage that we could use, a ping pong table, working hot tub, and even a firepit outside. And on top of all that, a fantastic location walking distance to the beach and a block away from the Sunday farmer's market. The hosts were incredibly kind and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and having a nice time. I couldn't recommend more highly."
