"Very impressive. The hotel is located at the top of the Old town which gives a spectacular view of the mountains. The room is comfortable and the free minibar is also a plus. The staff were willing to help but couldn't communicate in English which is fine because WeChat can translate everything. The breakfast menu offers a variety of choices but the portions are quite small so we had to order many times and the wait was a bit long. Highly recommended."

This beautiful little hotel is built around a small courtyard that gives the feeling of a traditional Chinese home, with beautiful old woodwork and lattice bannisters and windows. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable, and the bathroom is large, with a self-flushing toilet. While the building is not soundproof, it is quiet at night. Such a nice place to stay. The guest house is really beautiful. A very nice entryway with a yard full of nice plants and flowers. The hosts and staff are extremely welcoming and helpful, offering plenty of suggestions about the old town and surrounding villages. They helped us as well finding and organizing the ressources for travelling around to traditional villages and the Snow mountain park. A huge thank you to Roxana and Leo for the wonderful experience.

This is a fantastic property and one of the nicest places we’ve stayed in all our travels in China and the world. The property is located at the entrance to the old town and is magical. You step into a little ancient village. Our room had a lovely courtyard and was so quiet and comfortable. The staff was helpful and the breakfast as delicious as it gets. Our kids also enjoyed some of the experiences offered by the hotel and made their own Yunnan cat. We hope to come back one day!
