My room was comfortable, modern, and spotless – exactly what you hope for. A little inn tucked away at the eve of the Lijiang Ancient town. So well maintained by a family I think, and the complementary breakfast was so quaint and prepared by the managers mother I think. To get here you have to climb some steep olden times stairs, so if you do need help the staff are incredibly helpful here. The staff who managing the hotel when we were there very helpful on helping us booking some tours. He gave so many informations for us about the old town too so that we can enjoy it in a nice way. He even gave us some tips to avoid taking some expensive tour from people who will do hard-sell to us (proven). It's near the main road, no need to carry your luggage in the old town area which is cannot access by the car. It take 10 minutes walk to Lijiang old town. Host is very kind and speak english very well. He help to arrange the tour and airport pick up shuttle for us. The decoration in Chinese style. We can feel like stay at our friend house. There is fruit basket and tea provided in common area. Room is pretty good. It's large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is Chinese sytle. On the 3rd day before we checked out the toilet was spoiled and when l complaint to the boss , he said it not spoil but it's was due to low water pressure. The breakfast was only 2 buns , small bowl of plain porridge with spoonful of pickle and small glass of hot milk. We only ate 1 morning. Yan is a great host who speaks very good English and helped us with everything, including booking a trip to Shanghai-la. We were there with our 1.5 yr old daughter and received all the help from the staff to make our stay comfortable. The place is very cozy pretty much inside the old town of Lijiang and also very accessible by taxi.
