"The location was perfect! Easy and convenient access and walking to downtown, the beach, wharf and Boardwalk! The pillows were very flat and the mattresses were hard! The amenities in the hotel could be upgraded, along with the furniture. Some of the chairs and desks are old and run down. Overall it was fine for one night, but felt like it could’ve be a little more spruced up for the location and price we paid. Staff was helpful and friendly at check-in and for other questions. There was also construction happening a few rooms over, on an early Monday Memorial Day morning @ 8:00am. That shouldn’t have happened on a holiday weekend with guests still asleep."

"Right across from the Beach Boardwalk 🌴🌞🌴 My 2nd floor room had a small balcony and a sweet partial ocean view and view of the Wharf!! Probably the nicest two-star hotel I've stayed at. Parking was tight but doable. They have a small underground parking lot and then much more parking on the 2nd level which had a separate entrance. Staff was super friendly and check in was quick. They even let me check in a few hours early cuz my room was ready and I got there early. I noticed a few people laughably mentioned that it was noisy around the property. Duh!!!! It's right across the street from the Boardwalk and Beach lol. That's like staying in downtown San Francisco and complaining that there's too much traffic 😀 There's a rooftop spot to hang out at that directly overlooks the entire Boardwalk and Beach and Wharf with stunning views!!! You can see and hear the volleyball players on the beach and hear the waves crashing in. Also you can hear the sea lions barking over by the Wharf. The whole experience was fantastic!!!"

"For the price, this property is sorely lacking. They offer free coffee drinks (and snow cones, but no actual food) from their lobby “cafe” but don’t have a coffee maker in the room which was inconvenient. The rooms are very sparse in terms of toiletries. The pool is very small (which is fine), but the kids there were all over and there was literally no room for me to swim. This isn’t the fault of the hotel, but it made using the pool almost impossible. The hot tub was nice, though. The hotel is conveniently located right in the middle of everything, and short walk to the Boardwalk, however, driving back to property after hours there is a gate and you have to call the front desk - we waited over ten minutes to gain access. I don’t understand why the gate doesn’t have key card access. Overall, you’re paying a lot for the location but the hotel offers very little to make it a great stay. I’d likely stay elsewhere next time."
