Find hotels in Les Ollières from CA $69

The best area to stay in Les Ollières is within the village itself, or in one of the well-appointed properties just on its outskirts.

The village of Les Ollières is small but perfectly formed, situated along the banks of the Eyrieux River. Its main street, Rue du Pont, crosses the river via a historic bridge and is where you'll find the local boulangerie and a couple of traditional eateries. The surrounding area is characterised by rolling hills and chestnut forests, offering a quiet, rural escape.

Families often find the properties just outside the main village particularly appealing. Many of these larger accommodations come with private swimming pools, spacious gardens, and plenty of room for children to play. The proximity to the river also means easy access to activities like paddle boarding or swimming in designated areas, making for a relaxed holiday with plenty to do.

For couples seeking a peaceful retreat, staying within the village offers convenience and a gentle pace. You're within walking distance of the local amenities and can enjoy quiet evenings.

The best time to go to Les Ollières is generally between May and September, when the weather is at its most pleasant, offering warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine.

For those who enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, and exploring the natural beauty of the Ardèche countryside, the summer months of July and August are ideal. You'll find all local attractions, restaurants, and activity providers fully operational. However, these months are also the busiest, so expect more visitors and book your accommodation and any popular excursions in advance.

If you prefer a quieter experience with comfortable temperatures, late spring (May and June) or early autumn (September) are excellent choices. The weather is still lovely for outdoor pursuits, and the crowds are significantly smaller. This is particularly appealing for couples looking for a relaxed getaway to enjoy the scenery and local cuisine without the summer rush.
