To be honest, the only good thing about this resort was the coffee. Breakfast was sample, lots of bacon, the scrambled eggs looked gross. I had boiled eggs everyday. At 3am I found a huge waterbug(cockroach) growling up the drapes, that freaked me out. The last night the electricity went out from 10 pm to about 10am. It was just that I could not make the trip and be there and I was trying to get reimbursed through Expedia and I don’t believe that happened. We were completely flummoxed by delay from Washington to Atlanta and that messed up the entire trip. "An absolute gem! The location was perfect, everything within walking distance, no car needed. The room was clean, well-equipped, and our family room even had a handy kitchenette for simple meals. The rooftop terrace was a lovely spot for quiet evenings, and the small pool was clean and refreshing. Everything was exactly as advertised. La Désirade is a fantastic choice for a peaceful getaway, I highly recommend Hotel Oasis!
