Lovely and cosy place to stay

lovely cottage with easy access
We had a lovely night at this cottage which is located at the CBD and convenient to any places. The property manager, Emma is very friendly and helpful. Always responsive. but we accidently noticed that although the bathroom's window is frosted glass, you can actually see through at nighttime. Maybe a blinder /curtain will help. We are happy to stay here again in the future.

Launceston magic
We ( grandparents, mum , dad & 3 boys came for national school track & field championships. Location was great, close to city, parks & not far from competing stadium. However being in a light industrial area the noise of trucks & one night a street racer was not greatly for sleeping. The cottage was comfortable for such a large number. Would hire again.

Perfect property for our situation. Warm & cosy, everything we needed was there, and fully fenced for the dogs. Only issue was the traffic noise at night but ear plugs fixed that. Would definitely return.

My puppy caught fleas during our stay
It was a lovely house. However, I did come across a few issues. Upon arrival I noticed there were other pets feces everywhere outside. And a month after our short stay, my dog went in for his regular grooming, my dog groomer told me he now has fleas. I now have to organise pest control to flea bomb my whole house, and get my carpets and furniture steam cleaned and sanitised. It was a costly stay :(

Penfold Cottage worked very well for us
This property worked well for myself, my 2 teen/adult sons, my adult niece and nephew and 2 dogs. Spacious rooms in the home. Lovely neat kitchen and bathroom. Fully fenced garden and a fabulous walk for the dogs nearby. The 2nd bathroom is a toilet, trough and hairdryer in the outside laundry. Great heat pump in living/dining but bedrooms are cold and heating inadequate for size of rooms and height of ceilings. Quite a bit of traffic noise. Overall, great for our purposes and extra special bonus being pet friendly. Thank you Emma and Dale, Penfold Cottage was very good for our overnight stay.

Excellent property, central location
We required accommodation for an overnight work trip that allowed pets, and this property suited all of our needs, the pooch loved checking out the yard and the the lovely recliners and beds were all very comfortable. It was one of the coldest nights in Launceston for the year this particular night and needed to have the supplied heaters and reverse cycle all going at once. Did have to chase up with the host the day of our stay regarding they key, and received a promt respose. But otherwise clean, tidy and comfortable. Thank you, will stay again and recommend.

Great Launceston Accomodation
Conmunication can be improved, keeping confirmation closed to ETA adds unecessary stress specially if you are travelling around Tassie. Central location so mornings are a bit noisy with industrial vehicles moving around. Other than that everything is fantastic. I gave it 3 stars for the surrounding noise at 6am. Definitely would recommend.

Ideal home away from home
This is our second visit because the amenities inside are ideal. Lounge furnishings are perfect! Really hard to find places with comfy lounge chairs and couches. This time we needed to bring our dog and with their fenced yard we were able to leave her while out for dinner quite safely. The only issue the owners could improve on is an upgrade to the TV. Signal was very bad and kept cutting in and out especially on channel 6 so we missed some of our favourite shows. 🥴

A Perfect Stay
We always enjoy our stay at Penfold Cottage. Although there is only the 2 of us plus the doggie we enjoy the facilities & location. Easy access to everything. Was our 3rd stay & we will have many more in the future.

Perfect family vacation home
the property was immaculate. The owners were very responsive to our questions and the entire process was a breeze. The location is very centralised and was within a 5 minute drive to everything. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return very soon. Would 100% recommend this property to families.

A Short Stay
It was great to find a property within Launceston that was dog friendly. My partner and I and our teen son and small dog stayed at Penfold Cottage in Invermay. The house had ample room and lovely furnishings. The heat pump was adequate to heat the living room, kitchen, lounge and front bedroom. It was greatly appreciated to have electric blankets on the beds and heaters in the other two bedrooms.Great kitchen with everything you need. Would be handy to have another tea towel though. The bathroom shower had great water pressure which was good. The bath towels could be updated though to thicker, fluffier towels. Even though Launceston was freezing while we were there this place was warm and cosy. The location was quite busy and can be noisy due to the traffic but apart from that it is a convenient place to stay. I would stay here again.

Wonderfully renovated, warm home
We've stayed at two of Emma's properties and highly recommend the property. Penfold house is a very flexible place to stay with groups or family members. Beautifully appointed. A great yard with closing gates for our wee dogs too. The beds have very firm mattresses but all equipped with electric blankets. Couldn't recommend Emma more highly as a hostess.

Great little house for multiple adults to share
This neat as a pin cottage was perfect for our trio of three adults who were not related. We all had double or queen beds. The very best part of this stay is the intelligent and considerate placement of very comfortable armchairs in the lounge area and lots of them considering that the house could sleep up to 12 people!!! Just need instructions to get the stove turned on please. Laminate them and pin to splash back please. Great spot. And sorry Emma for forgetting to leave the keys.
