2/10 Terrible

"I checked into this hotel at 1 AM in the morning. The hotel does not provide do not disturb signs. At 7 AM May began pounding on my door. She woke me up after only four hours of sleep. I told her I was still sleeping and she went away. at 7:45 AM she began knocking again. This seemed disgraceful. Checkout time is at 11 AM. Why is the maid pounding on my door at 7 AM and then pounding again at 7:45 AM. There is also nothing very nice about this hotel and this added unnecessary disturbance made the whole experience extremely unpleasant. I would never stay at this hotel. There are better hotels at this same location."

"This place needs work. They are currently under construction. However, I stayed in a room that appeared to be semi-updated. The TV did not work. The manager came and could not get it to work; however, I was able to transfer to another room with a working TV. The beds are very hard and uncomfortable. The room floor hasn't been cleaned, and there's visible debris. The refrigerator still had remnants of whatever the prior guest had left behind, and it was dirty! The light switches, and the sink was dirty, with brown print on the light switch for the bathroom, yuck! Whoever is doing the updates has no attention to detail, uneven light switches and plugs, for example. I don't have access to the ice machine. The manager brought me ice when I requested it, but I couldn't get ice before I left on a 90+ degree day, which was unacceptable. Huge trip hazard: an inch-and-a-half rise with edging leading into the bathroom. As a person with Parkinson's, I have to be very careful, and having a tripping hazard going to the bathroom is totally unacceptable. Then the cheap, easily chipped laminate floor was not installed with any backing, and it flexes when you step on it, creating a trip hazard throughout the room. With a car on cement blocks in the parking lot. I would expect more from a Choice Hotel. The shower looks recently updated; however, the shower floor was not cleaned, and the conditioner bottle was empty. Wait till the construction is done before possibly staying there."

"Excellent value for the cost. Old motel that has been refurbished. Large room ... it had a couch and easy chair. Clean and easy to access from I25. Only thing that bothered me was that only "Internet TV" was offered rather that cable TV or DirecTV. Not a biggie if you are just looking for an affordable comfortable place to stay for the night."

"We had a wonderful and restful overnight stay at this wonderful hotel. The room that we booked had issues with the AC, and we were given another room. The manager took us around and showed us one of the two rooms they had available, and right away we chose the first without looking at the other one. The room that we got was more than what we expected. It was clean, spacious, and we slept throughout the night without no issues. We did have dinner at the hotel bar and the food was good and the staff were very friendly. The environment was very relaxing. All the staff were very helpful and friendly."
