If I had to describe it in one word - fantastic. From start to finish Stefano and his family ensure that you have everything for a relaxed stay. Stefano cooks amazing dishes offered at dinner. Breakfasts offer a great variety of home made treats. The views are breathtaking. It’s a hidden gem away from hustle and bustle but still close enough for sightseeing around Portofino and Cinque Terra areas.

I booked one double room but the hotel upgraded me to two singles. Other things I liked were good breakfast, especially the croissant was excellent, shuttle bus service to the airport at reasonable price. Everything was above average and the hotel well worth a 4-star rating.

This turned out to be two cans of coca cola in a mini fridge (probably making a worse first impression than if we'd just not been offered a drink at all). No breakfast - that's fine - but ...
