Brilliant accommodation - highly recommended.

I had a lovely 4 night stay at the Beamish Hall. The staff welcomed me and were there for my needs. My room was beautiful and spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was just right. Drinks and meals at the Stables restaurant and its courtyard were lovely!

I (we) have never stayed in a castle before so randomly coming across thought why not as it was on par with staying in Durham. We stayed in the main castle rather than the wing rooms. Felt appropriately castle like. Clean. High quality establishment. Uber from the local train station (one stop from Durham) cost 5 pounds. Back to Durham in the morning from there was about 16 or so. We ate evening meal at the bar (had fish&chips, small portion fairly good quality) and a few drinks that were...

The manager Anna couldn’t have been nicer. She greeted us with a cup of tea and biscuits and allowed us to check-in early and was very helpful with suggestions of things to do in the city. Rooms were comfortable and quiet and included on-site free parking. Location just a short walk into the centre. Breakfast also very good with lots of options.

Convenient location in an interesting historical property. Excellent restaurant.

We arrived at the Beamish Park Hotel after being involved in a accident (no injury) but with a non drivable hired car. The staff greated us with empathy and with a couple of platter of sandwichs and drinks. It was so refreshing and welcoming since we were exhausted from the ordeal.

Breakfast had good options, room was clean and cozy. The beer garden and surroundings were enjoyable.and the area felt.safe while being central enough.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful, since I’m disabled. They helped me up and down the stairs and Owen put our luggage in our rental car. Hannah and Beth were also wonderful, with other help.

Loved the modern rooms. Close to the motorway. Food was very tasty.

Very clean and comfortable room. Close to the train station. Good breakfast and excellent catering to GF needs.

The room was clean and there was plenty of parking. The restaurant was very good, especially the pizza and the breakfast. Staff were friendly.

Good

Nice place, short stay

I love this place, and any time I travel to Newcastle, it’s where I’d book again. Stayed there twice now, once for 3 nights and once for two nights. The rooms are are great, the staff is amazingly helpful and super friendly, and the whole place has a great vibe. Plus it’s great being down on the quayside in mornings and evenings
