"We loved our time there, even though we had bad coughs and colds the whole time! We had finished a 2-week trip with friends in Turkey and Greece, and this was our special "couple time" to celebrate a big anniversary - but we had gotten sick the week before. Still, Jimmy and the staff at the hotel did a WONDERFUL job providing and caring for us, and it was such a special time. I couldn't recommend a hotel higher! And if you're going to be stuck in bed, this is the place to be. :-)"

"Castle view bungalows are chalet type buildings at the foot of the hill leading up to the castle. There is a decent sized pool on site and breakfast comes in the form of a pre-prepared box for two. The drive up to the Castle is short and must be done. The admission of 12 Euros is well worth the money, the views and the frescoes in the three churches are amazing. A word of warning, the footpaths are uneven and the climb is strenuous. The nearby village of Mystras is charming and has several tavernas and a cople of shops."

"Up in the mountains, at a short drive from the Archaeological site of Mystra, this newly furnished B&B was a pleasant surprise. Despite the season being still some months away, they were very busy, and there was a reason for it – everything was perfect – the quality and the cleanliness of the room, the prompt and friendly service, the excellent dinner and breakfast, both offering local products. At dinner, we had the chance to enjoy the music of a slanted local singer and guitar player. All in all, it was a great treat. "

"This is a very unique medieval castle and the rooms we stayed in were full of amazing character, beautiful architecture and stylish furniture. The staff were amazing, so warm and welcoming, I could not rate them more highly. They went out of their way to care for us. The breakfast every morning was fantastic, just about everything you could want was there and delicious. The rooms were a good size, clean and comfortable, with plenty of room for luggage. A very enjoyable experience. "

"Conveniently placed at the bus station from Athens. The staff were nice. Clean room with view of the Monemvasia itself. Quiet room despite having a bar on the ground floor. Very good value for the price."
