"Service was excellent, food was great, Common lounge areas were comfortable, our room had fantastic lake views but the resort itself generally needs updating."

"Our favourite accommodation in NZ. A beautiful hotel with just the best location. A minute’s walk to Eat Street and just a few more to the CBD and other attractions around town. We had a lovely room with a private courtyard, the bed and pillows were super comfy and it was all very clean. The bathroom was great - large shower with good water pressure and double vanity basins and mirrors. Wonderful smelling toiletries and they even provided toothbrushes. The weekend staff were very helpful and friendly. Cannot recommend highly enough. "
"I had a large room with two king size beds. I particularly enjoyed the spa bath in my room after completing the Rotorua Marathon! A very nice restaurant and professional room service. "
