Nestled between rolling hills and Pacific coastline, this upscale community offers pristine beaches and scenic hiking trails at Aliso and Wood Canyons. Spend mornings exploring tide pools at Salt Creek Beach, then enjoy sunset dining at Dana Point Harbor's waterfront restaurants where locals recommend the fresh seafood.
Location!+++. On the beach,by the pier, lots of beachfront restaurants. Lots of street activity until about 11 pm. On the long beachfront walkway. Staff very friendly and helpful. The place had unique historic character decor. Comfy bed. The only suggestion is the continental breakfast would have been lovely to have the Dory Bakery pastries next door instead of store bread and bagels.

Freda, the property owner and host could not do enough for us! She even went out of her way and picked us up in Anaheim. It was incredibly kind, she had car trouble that day and asked her friend to help get us. We really appreciated it. We were well fed, and very well informed about San Clemente and what to do. We spent a great 4 days there. Thanks to Freda!
