"Hotel staff was very friendly, all our needs were met. When we asked for something they brought it up to us promptly. The free breakfast was very good. The hallway leading to our room was dirty, stains on the carpet, trash all along the hallway, and smelt like cigarettes and marijuana. Our room was pretty clean compared to the hallway, thank goodness. Our toilet seat was cracked and there was no refrigerator (advertised) and the cabinet where the fridge was supposed to be the door was off the hinges and laying against the cabinet. The walls were a little discolored (possibly mold?). The tub bottom could have been cleaner. The bed linens appeared to be clean and there were no stains on the carpet in the room. The room did have a funny smell upon entering. I was told the pool was open upon check in, so I took my kids to the pool later that evening, the pool was green and trash was floating in it, employee came out and told me it was closed that they just put a bunch of chemicals in it and it should be open the next day (did not smell any chemicals and the pump wasn't running, the pool looked exactly the same next day, my kids were disappointed). "

"We were gone during the day a lot and we would come back to the hotel for sleep mostly. If you aren’t crazy about the French Quarter area… take the 2 hour drive and go to Mississippi and Alabama for the day! The staff at the hotel are very nice and helpful though. "

"The room was beautiful and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was not great, but the cleanliness and overall condition of the room made up for a lot. The hotel has a great location next to the highway and it was very quiet. I’m a light sleeper so I had no issues in getting rest and I slept very well."
