"We enjoyed a wonderful week at this charming historic village home. Pierre’s wife met us at the house to leave the keys and show us around. Despite the language barrier we were able to understand some of what she told us. There did seem to be some miscommunication about towels for the kitchen and bath being provided but she was kind enough to supply those after we requested them. We had no other issues and found the location of the house to be perfect for exploring the surrounding countryside...

"We booked the house for the hot tub but didn't have access to it - were told to go to the river instead (9/10 pm!) The kids were VERY disappointed & wanted me to mention it. And the fact that there's nowhere within 25 mins to get bread etc. We did have a fantastic holiday regardless however. The river, that was a 5 minute drive (the walk is way too much in the summer heat - it's very hilly), was extraordinary. We would go down late afternoon when it cooled off a bit and spend hours in there. ...
