The hotel had excellent service. Very nice employees greeting you and taking your luggage. The food was good and the breakfast was abundant. We loved our stay at Palacio Guaqui, definitely a gem in Arequipa, it felt like you were in a sanctuary, very peaceful . The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We had an amazing experience!

The rooms are extremely quiet and luxurious. The spa was not run well — no one was there. The breakfast was amazing, but the restaurant's service was on the slow side. The neighborhood is in the business district and boring.

When we showed up for our confirmed reservation, no one was there. We cashed the number and they told us the entire place was closed because they were repainting. So we had to hurry and find a new place to sleep late at night.
