Nice place for the night

This was an excellent hotel, we were comfortable and enjoyed the stay. The staff were wonderful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome!

From check in to check out our experience was wonderful. The location was beautiful and quiet, yet near the airport. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. The hotel was extremely clean, and the room was comfortable and well decorated.

We had a brief overnight stay before an early flight out of SJO, but we were impressed with this accommodation. The building and grounds are very beautiful. There are dining options close by, within walking distance. The airport is a short shuttle or taxi ride away. (I'd suggest the shuttle. The taxi driver we had was horrible.) Voices really carry up the stairs to the rooms, but all was quiet by 10 pm, and we slept well. We did not have a chance to use the pool or have the breakfast, but...

This hotel is like a resort in the city. It has beautifully cared for grounds, large rooms and lovely helpful staff.

The property is located right on the golf course. Easy walk to the golf pro shop for a round. Great staff eager to help.

It was close to many dining choices.

Excellent service in this family-run bed and breakfast. After a long and late flight, the airport pick up was appreciated and to wake up with a beautiful view of a tropical garden and forest area was so much nicer than waking next to a highway at a typical airport hotel. We arranged for our rental car to be delivered to the property, so we were able to avoid the congested traffic of San Jose. Lovely continental breakfast with croissants and coffee.

This is my first hostel stay (I always thought the worst for these places). I absolutely loved it here. The staff were so kind and welcoming. I had a private bed with a clean bathroom. They had a wonderful vegetarian breakfast and coffee. A beautiful relaxing patio ou back. I highly recommend this place. I'm very impressed! Thank you for everything guys and I will recommend this place to anyone!

Love the design of this beautiful hotel. It is located on a hilltop and has a grand view of San Jose. Rooms are spacious and bed and pillow comfortable. It is a real treat to breakfast just outside our main floor room near the gorgeous pool while enjoying the view of the lovely grounds. The owner is so wonderful - we especially appreciated the help she provided to us in getting back a phone we had dropped in our taxi from the airport!! It is a 20-30 minute drive from the airport but well worth...

We were greeted with an alcoholic beverage, our room was personalized with last name, the view is magnificent and unreal, the staff is incredible and even remembered our names. The rooms are just gorgeous. The animal sanctuary is fantastic & the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. There's absolutely all kinds of everything up there. It might seem expensive, but it's definitely a 6 star hotel in my book. I can't even believe this place is real, it's paradise on earth & I HIGHLY recommend to...

The property itself is beautiful, The pool was nice the staff was super friendly. If you’re driving a rental I hope it’s 4WD because there was a lot of cars including ours getting stuck going up the hill the hotel was on. Would stay again :)

Fantastic choice for your first night in Costa Rica, or the final night before a flight home. Two recommendations, book the breakfast, you won’t be disappointed, and book the shuttle from the airport to the hotel and avoid having to pay a ridiculously high price for a taxi. Third time staying at AC Belan, and I will stay again.

Great private compound w 25 rooms, lovely grounds, big rooms, pool, and good restaurant. Within 30 minutes of SJO. We used for our last night in CR to reduce travel stress. Would also be a great SJ starting point or even business hotel.

Vicky waited up for us to arrive late at night when our flight was delayed. She gave us a main floor room so we wouldn’t have to take the luggage upstairs. The breakfast was outstanding.

This hotel is located close to the airport, but was very quiet. It is very clean, has very friendly multilingual staff, and offers a good complimentary breakfast.

Very clean property, staff is attentive. Check in was hassle free and the breakfast was excellent!
