![On 14 April 2016, a massive earthquake (magnitude 6.2) struck Kumamoto prefecture and damaged numerous structures of the Kumamoto Castle complex including the main castle. Routes and pathways were still open and available for visitors. During our visit, efforts for reconstruction of Kumamoto castle were under way as can be seen in the background of this photo. « This was our favorite apartment accomodation in Japan. Very comfortable and enough space for 2 and in a great location. We could walk to the station and to the city center and castle. The small kitchen was fine for making a small breakfast and coffee. And we really appreciated the wash machine and drying rack! Check in worked exactly as described. Highly recommended! »

« 整體來說就是太棒了，當然還是有美中不足的地方是會一直聞到樓下燒烤店的味道，但整個空間跟居住體驗還是太讚了，非常適合家庭以及多人數的住宿，有廚房有洗衣機，有兩衛浴，兩廁所，四床，以及超大空間，如果同樣價格真的選別的不一定有這麼大的空間，而且附近就是商店街，可以方便覓食方便停車 »
