This is our second stay at Hotel Polonia. First time 9 years ago. We had a corner (super) room... Bed and pillows were good. Walking distance to Stare Rynek. We parked our car for 2 days and either walked or Ubered. The breakfast buffet is the same now as it was on our first visit. It was ok but could use a bit of a change.

Room and hotel were good, the breakfast had a great variety. Great location next to the old town and to the train station. Spacious clean room. The noise from the tram does travel to the room so just have a pair of earplugs and it will be fine.

Beautiful hotel right by the old town. Short walk from the train station. Huge mall, Galleria Krakowska , is right next to the hotel. There is a big supermarket, too. Our room was spacious and quiet. It was facing the courtyard. Very friendly staff. Cleaning lady did excellent job keeping our room impeccable. We stayed 3 nights and walked all over from the hotel.

Great location, friendly hotel.
First room was next to tram lines and trams thundered by every minute. Tram frequency slowed down over night but didn't stop. First night no sleep. Polonia changed my room to a quieter room for rest of stay. Decor of second room not as nice but room was quiet. Grateful staff were able to accommodate. Staff very frienhly. Restaurant was excellent. Location excellent--near rail station and Old Town Square.

Perfect allocation but medium standard.
The breakfast was very good , and fresh. Lots of choices for everyone. It was big plus. The hotel is very close to train station and very close to town, so the allocation is perfect. Standard the hotel maximum 3 stars and looks like they have problem with clean, especially on the reception and public area. It is beautiful old building but not renovating from long time.

Very nice stay. Hotel convenient, close to train station and Old Town. Room was large and airy, but I would suggest room not facing street due to city traffic noise.

Fantastic find!
What a fantastic find: original older hotel, great location just outside 'old' town; close to trams, buses and main train station. Massive shopping centre close by. Easy pleasant walk to Planty park and old town. Fantastic breakfast, good size rooms. Evening meals available at a reasonable price. The only negative is (depending where your room is) you will hear the public transport overnight but it didn't bother us!

The location could not have been better for transport and the Old Town. Staff were efficient and friendly. Food was really excellent. All this made for a memorable stay. We would certainly want to stay here on another visit to this wonderful historic city.
